Economic Forum Hungary in Berlin

dc nearshoring attended the Economic Forum Hungary in Berlin organized by German Eastern Business Association

Due to our continued involvement in Central Europe, we were able to continue our efforts to find more high-end IT service providers from Hungary at the top-class German-Hungarian Economic Forum on October 10th, 2022.

As a keynote speaker, the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán not only gave surprising insights into his CV and motivation, in the dialogue he was also very open about the critical points of German (or European)-Hungarian economic relations (e.g. legal security and the rule of law). This enabled us to deepen our impressions and knowledge of Hungary much more and more reliably than is possible with third-party sources.

In the subsequent panel discussion, Prof. Dr. László Palkovics, Minister of Technology and Industry, and Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, answered the plenary's questions. This dialogue further deepened topics from the exchange with Mr. Orban, so that we were able to gain very deep insights into politics, administration and education in Hungary from the highest government representatives, which further strengthens us in our mission to provide our customers with the best possible IT-service providers respectively to be able to recommend the best possible locations for future nearshoring activities. 

As always at comparable events, the personal dialogue with representatives from politics and business from both countries made it possible to discuss many relevant facets of the respective business relationships
